Nearly Two Decades of Partnership
Since 2007, Nicaragua has been the foundation of Comunidad Connect's work. Here, we've developed our community-led approach and co-investment model through deep, long-term partnerships with rural communities.
Our programs address the most pressing needs identified by community members themselves: access to quality healthcare, safe and dignified housing, and opportunities for young people to thrive.
Through partnerships with the Ministry of Health, local governments, and community organizations, we've created sustainable systems that continue to serve families long after initial projects are completed.

Community Health Systems
Training local health promoters (brigadistas) and establishing wellness centers that provide primary care and specialized support for over 3,000+ community members.
Sustainable Housing
Building safe, dignified homes for vulnerable families while creating local employment and teaching construction skills that benefit the entire community.

Engaging 500+ young people annually through sports programs, educational support, and leadership development that strengthens community bonds across generations.
